Our Quieting Serum is a spray for Sensitive Skin that was developed by a nurse practitioner with rosacea. It features carefully-sourced and tested tea tree oil to target problematic shifts in the microbiome (including bacteria, fungi and microscopic skin mites). It also includes organic aloe vera juice and red sage root extract to calm skin hyper-responsiveness and improve the appearance of redness. It is dermatologist-tested, EWG Verified® and Leaping Bunny Certified. Independently-performed repeated insult patch testing showed zero potential for skin irritation or sensitization.

EWG Verified® also means that our aloe vera juice is decolorized and tested for harmful components, including heavy metals, pesticides and anthraquinone. This is labeled as a serum. To me a serum is thicker and more oil based, this is not. It takes multiple sprays on your fingers to try to get it all over your face, so not the easiest to apply. I do like that it has tea tree oil.

It all started with a terrible bout of blepharitis. After several months of suffering, I discovered the blepharitis was due to Demodex mites, which I also discovered had overrun my face causing severe redness across my cheeks and nose. I was able to treat the Demodex on my eyelids and face with prescription medication, but they were short term treatments and I wanted to be able to control the Demodex continuously. I have been using the Tee Tree Oil for Sensitive Skin daily for over 6 months now with no return of that previous redness. Also, I have not had any blepharitis flare-ups either, which is due, in part, I am sure, to the control of the Demodex on my face from this product. Thank you so much for this product, it has saved my life!
